For Zivid Two, after the installation, proceed to Zivid Two Network Configuration.

Zivid Two Network Configuration

The Zivid Two camera uses Ethernet communication and needs 10Gbps for best performance. If your computer does not have a port for 10GbE you can connect to it using an adaptor for 10GBASE-T (10G copper Ethernet) to Thunderbolt 3. At a reduced performance you can also use 1000BASE-T and NBASE-T (1G, 2.5G, and 5G over copper) to USB adapters.

Zivid Two has a factory default IP address. To connect to the camera you must set up the network interface.

Ubuntu

To find these settings go to your network settings and then click on the cogwheel for the unconnected network interface. This should look approximately like the screenshot below if you are using Ubuntu 20.04.

Set up the network configuration in the IPv4 tab:

  • Set Method to manual
  • Address to: 172.28.60.1
  • Netmask to:  255.255.255.0
